I was working on the WARP here at work, a clumsy process that involved terminating power on "Hot" 750 amp panels.....
But at the end Cake was distributed.

Y'know, I keep waiting to see some sort of crossover happen between this and one of my other daily-favorite websites, Cake Wrecks.
I mean, it's a natural. Hunter (obviously) loves cake, and Jen & John (of CW) are proud and loud about their total geekitude. 
And c'mon, people. We're on URTH, here! The dim military guys are back! The engineers are deadpan hysterical! Where's the love for teh Hunter? Wassamatta us?!? WHY ARE WE NOT PEEING OURSELVES LAUGHING OUT LOUD?!?!?

I've been having a blast looking at the CakeWrecks blog. In all my post swine plague, fighting off pneumonia festivities, the wheezing laughter has been heard all the way upstairs from my basement lair, making my roommate wonder what happened to finally make me snap.
But I thought I'd contribute this entry in honor of H's interest in space ship models. The details!
Of course, this one is more in the spirit of the "wrecks" that have made me hack and wheeze myself senseless for the past couple of hours.
Makes me think of my birthday cake from last year.

I HAVE been howling my nether regions off. I've just been so darn busy with book promotions and trying to get the FIFTH manuscript together since the start of summer that I haven't had time to post.
In addition my mom has a kidney infection AND swine flu. She sick lady.
